EFT, often simply called tapping, is a gentle technique that combines acupressure with consciously tuning into your emotions and what\u2019s happening in your body.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\ud83c\udf3f What is\u00a0EFT \u2013 Emotional Freedom Techniques ?<\/h4>

We start by looking at what\u2019s weighing on you right now and getting clear on where you\u2019d actually like to go instead. What would you rather experience? How would you like to feel?<\/p>

Difficult or stressful experiences often show up in all kinds of ways \u2013 in our thoughts, our emotions and in our bodies. In EFT, we also look at this from an energetic perspective, with the idea that emotional stress can affect the way energy flows through the body\u2019s meridian system.<\/p>

You can think of the meridians a bit like rivers running through your body. When something gets stuck, it can interrupt that flow \u2013 a little like rocks building up in a riverbed and stopping the water from moving freely.<\/p>

While tuning into the difficult emotions and the physical sensations that come with them, we gently tap on specific acupressure points along the meridian pathways. The idea is to help release what feels stuck and allow things to start flowing more freely again.<\/p>

At the same time, we keep coming back to the goal we identified at the beginning \u2013 how you want to feel and what you\u2019d like to experience instead \u2013 and bring that into the tapping as well.<\/p>
